• Awarded 2008 Institut Kimia Malaysia (IKM) Tan Sri Datuk Ong Kee Hui Postgraduate Chemistry Award (for best national postgraduate thesis in chemistry).
• Being selected as one of the awardees of six young scientists to represent Malaysia in the Annual Meeting of Nobel Laureates with Young Scientists in Lindau, Germany from 26th June 2005 to 1st July 2005
• Awarded 2003 Institut Kimia Malaysia (IKM) Graduate Chemistry Medal for best performance in the 2003 Applied Chemistry Honours Examination of University of Malaya
