Project Title: Feasibility study of grid-scale gravity energy storage for increased penetration of sustainable energy and enhanced power quality in Malaysian hybrid power systems
Location: Sungai Long campus
Appointment Duration: 14 months
No. of Vacancy: 1 (one)
Stipend: RM 2,000 per month
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree with Honours from Electrical and Electronic Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering/Mechanical Engineering, or its equivalent
Specific Skills / Knowledge Required: Good simulation/programming skill, Determination and persistence, Independent and can work under minimal supervision, Good English communication Skill

  1. Analyse the effect of the Gravity energy storage system in enhancing a hybrid power system using simulation
  2. Analyse the Econo-environmental impact of Gravity energy storage system in Malaysian hybrid power system using simulation
